Giovanni Pinarello is another famous cyclist who started his own bicycle brand. And the main fame of this company has always been linked to winning races. It has steadily grown in popularity over the years, but it just exploded in the recent five years - thanks to their Sky Team's sponsorship.

Fausto Pinarello, Giovanni's son, is the current CEO. He is very much involved on the factory floor daily. Even after he broke his hip in 2018, he continued riding around the floor on a specially built bike.

Contemporary and global Cicli Pinarello assembles its bikes in Treviso, Italy. Where paints and decorates the frames that come from the manufacturing partners in China and Taiwan. The rest assembly also takes place here.

Interestingly, differently from other bike manufacturers, Pinarello is not selling frames online, only through 'brick and mortar' stores on its distribution network.
