Maxx is a specialist at building very bikes for large people - from 90 kg and up. Their standard built bikes are good for people up to 215 cm tall. After that, they build custom made bikes as per customer requirements.
As a manufacturer Maxx build their own frames and wheels, and have a few specialised powder coating options in-house. Which, being a small bike manufacturer, are done by hand, of course.
For their Pinion and Rohloff bikes Maxx uses German build engines.
