This barrel sauna is built following the most requested features for higher-budget saunas. As custom saunas builders, we know what is popular and important when building a spacious outdoor sauna.
The standard sauna build includes:
- Spacious barrel-shaped sauna
- 50% panoramic view window
- Wood-burner or electric stove with sauna stones and two heat-resistant plates
- Measurements: external height 2,4 m / diameter 2,2 m / external width 2,4 m / length 5 m
- Separate changing area with seating (3 wall design)
- Wooden front door with double glazed tempered glass window, lock and wooden handle.
- Glass door between changing area and main sauna room
- Benches inside and on the outside resting space
- Ventilation vents - providing a constant supply of fresh air (without reducing internal temperature)
- Internal LED lights - discretely fitted under the seats. It's a real mood booster in dark evenings.
- Specialised 34-litre sauna water tank (used with wood-burning stoves)
Recommended upgrades and accessories:
- 100% panoramic view window. It works especially well with the electric heater option, as there is no chimney to obstruct the view.
- Lighting - outside light (not suitable for off-grid, wood burner heating option
- Thermowood upgrade - highly recommended. Increase resistance of the wood to dampness and elements and overall longevity of your sauna.
Possible Customisations:
- The sauna's exterior comes in natural wood as a standard but can be customised to any colour you wish.
- Barrel sauna interior is always in natural wood colour, but you can decide how big changing and main areas would be
- Bitumen tiles come in grey as a standard, but the colour can be changed to red, green or black too.
- Choose between an electric heater or wood burning stove (with a chimney).
